About Mrs. D'Alessandro - Amin

Hello, fellow artists! I am Mrs. D’Alessandro-Amin, your friendly and quirky Elementary Art teacher. Buckle up, because we're about to embark on an artistic adventure together!

With eleven years of teaching experience, I've discovered that art is so much more than just paint and paper. It's about expressing ourselves, thinking creatively, and seeing the world through a different lens. My goal is to inspire and ignite your child's imagination while they explore different art mediums and techniques.

I believe in embracing individuality and celebrating the uniqueness of every student. In my art room, there are no mistakes, only opportunities for creative discoveries. We'll dive into projects that encourage self-expression, collaboration, and problem-solving. I want your child to feel like a true artist, whether they're experimenting with watercolors, sculpting with clay, or creating masterpieces with colorful markers.

You might find me wearing my favorite paint-splattered apron, with a sprinkle of glitter in my hair. I believe that a little bit of mess is a sign of a great art session! So get ready for some paintbrush twirling, marker doodling, and even a few funny art-related jokes along the way.

Outside of the art room, I enjoy going on adventures with my family, attending museums, creating my own art, and doing anything active outdoors. I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to inspire my students.

Communication is key, so I encourage you to reach out and share any artistic stories or experiences your child has at home. Let's collaborate to foster a love for art and help your child blossom into a confident, creative, and innovative artist!

I can't wait to meet you all and embark on this colorful journey of creativity together. Let's make this school year a masterpiece!

Feeling the Love!
